We love to play rugby together, but we also have a great time off the pitch! Come see us at one of our events, or get in touch if you’d like to help us host our next COVID-conscious gathering at your establishment. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram @enoriverwomen for all the social updates!

What does your club do outside of rugby?

Philanthropy

Eno Rugby loves the Durham community that has nurtured our growth and shared in our successes. We seek out opportunities to give back to the community and want to do our part to ensure that the Bull City is the best it can be. If you would like to put Eno Rugby to work for a good cause in or around Durham, please send us an email.

LUEWWD

Eno ruggers have entered as arm wrestling contestants, entourage members, stage personalities, and security personnel for nearly every event put on by our beloved League of Upper Extremity Wrestling Women of Durham (LUEWWD). We push our community impact to new heights each year by doing anything any everything we can to raise money for the wonderful causes that LUEWWD supports. Stay up to date on future events and check out past competition results here.

Cards for Hospitalized Kids

Each year we try to send a little extra joy to kids and families who are spending the holidays in the hospital by hand-making cards to be distributed at hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses. Learn more or get involved here.

Keep Durham Beautiful

From planting trees to cleaning up litter, we are committed to caring for our home city and being good stewards of our local natural resources. Learn more or get involved here.

Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC

We partnered up with the men of Tobacco Road Rugby to salvage cucumbers and sort food products at the Durham warehouse location of the Food Bank. You can volunteer to fight hunger and minimize food waste in our community too!

Bloodsport

We’ve teamed up with the organizers of LUEWWD to put on four iterations of Bloodsport, a menstrual product drive benefitting the many people in our community who menstruate but also struggle to afford these “luxury” products. Together we’ve donated many thousands of pads, tampons, and other hygienic items to local organizations like Urban Ministries of Durham, Diaper Bank of NC, Partners for Youth Opportunity, ReCity, New Hope’s Dove House, and the Durham Crisis Response Center. Learn more about Bloodsport or volunteer at a future event through LUEWWD.

Bull City RaceFest

Volunteering can support fitness without actually having to do any! We served as course monitors and cheerleaders, and you can support this annual race fest and food truck rodeo too.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat

Eno volunteered with Habitat for Humanity Durham to help on a build for a local family. Check out their volunteer options here, or support the Durham ReStore by donating, shopping, or volunteering.
