Eno Rugby welcomes all female-identifying individuals over the age of 18 to give rugby a try. No experience necessary- we only ask that players show up, try their best, and contribute a positive attitude to our fun and supportive family of ruggers!
Active player dues are $55 for new players (first season with Eno) and $65 for veteran players. CIPP registration with USA Rugby for the 2019-2020 season costs $68.50 and players must register directly with USAR. If you plan to play with us on a regular basis, you will need cleats and a mouth guard.
You can read about World Rugby’s updated policies relating to trans athletes, or contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions about eligibility based on gender or any other factors.
Practices will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9 pm at C.M. Herndon Park, 511 Scott King Rd, Durham, NC 27713. Our first practice of the spring will be on Tuesday, February 11th, with the season continuing into early May. New players are welcome to show up to any practice, but it helps to send us an email to let our coaches know you’re coming!
Matches are generally played on various Saturdays throughout the season. During our regular fall and spring seasons, we play 15’s rugby as part of the Carolinas Geographic Union in Women’s Division II. Please feel welcome to come watch a match before deciding whether you’d like to join us as a Social or Player Member.
We play 7’s rugby all summer long! In this smaller-sided, faster-paced version of the game there are ample opportunities for new and veteran players to develop their skills in shorter matches. Eno competes at several tournaments throughout the summer 7’s season, and we hold touch rugby practices weekly. Join us!
